2022 Winter & Spring exhibitions line-up

After INDEX in Geneva last November, Hammer-IMS resumed its exhibition tour across Germany in Winter & Spring 2022. Many people came and visited us to watch one of our non-nuclear inline thickness and basis weight measuring systems in action! New Marveloc-CURTAIN with next-generation mechanical frame ready to be shipped

Our new CURTAIN integrates a next-generation up to 4.5 meter mechanical frame equipped with multiple sensors based on our clean M-Ray based measurement technology. The solution is developed to perform 24/7 quality control on inline production of plastic films, nonwovens, fabrics, etc. The new Marveloc-CURTAIN solution entails product improvements covering proprietary mechanical frame, M-Ray sensors, and Connectivity software.

On tour in Germany

The coming months, Hammer-IMS will cross Germany for speaker assignments or tabletop exhibits in leading conferences. The tour consists of textiles, nonwovens or plastics related events targeting material research, inline manufacturing and quality inspection. The first stops on the tour are Berlin - Textile Coating and Laminating (TCL) conference – and Hof - Hofer Vliesstofftage – both taking place simultaneously.

Plastics Machinery Magazine (US) published Hammer-IMS CURTAIN solution in special report on innovative ‘multi’ units for film thickness testing. Among suppliers of film inspection equipment, “multi” is the latest buzzword. At the K show in Düsseldorf, Hammer-IMS introduced its CURTAIN multisensor device for measuring thickness.

Only eight months after its incorporation and investment capital round, Hammer-IMS exhibits on K-Messe, the world’s premier plastics industry trade fair in Düsseldorf. At this occasion, Hammer-IMS of Flanders demonstrates its new turnkey CURTAIN multi-head solution for measuring thickness and weight in production lines. Co-founders Noël Deferm and Tom Redant of the KU Leuven spin-off company developed a complete portfolio of revolutionary measuring solutions based on ‘M-Rays’ – electromagnetic millimeter waves.
