Last week, our customers of ITA Augsburg presented interesting scientific insights in the use of their recently-purchased M-Ray quality control system during a talk at the Workshop "Mikrowellen- und Terahertz-Prüftechnik in der industriellen Praxis" in Kissing by Augsburg. The audience was treated to the interesting conclusions of the work presented by Philip Mosler, Sebastian Geldhäuser and Prof. Dr. Mesut Cetin, entitled "Millimeterwellen-Messtechnik zur Flächengewichtserfassung in der Vliesstoffproduktion."

HAMMER-IMS has taken a major step in expanding its international presence by partnering with ADSTEC in Funabashi, Japan. As part of this strategic collaboration, ADSTEC recently purchased a HAMMER-IMS system—marking an important milestone in introducing our advanced measurement solutions to the Japanese battery industry.
Düsseldorf, Germany – Hammer-IMS recently participated in the K show in Düsseldorf, the world's largest international trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. We were very pleased with the turnout and the quality of the conversations we had with industry professionals. The event provided an excellent platform to discuss the ongoing need for high-precision, non-nuclear quality control solutions in a rapidly evolving market.
Bij Westlake Plastics komen innovatie en efficiëntie samen. Hun nieuwe faciliteit beschikt over een geavanceerde extrusielijn die dikke kunststofplaten, staven en folies kan produceren van meer dan 20 verschillende thermoplasten, met diktes van 1 millimeter tot drie kwart inch. Om een nauwkeurige en betrouwbare productie over dit brede assortiment te waarborgen, koos Westlake Plastics voor het Hammer-IMS-systeem.
Tijdens de productie passeert elk paneel door de Edge-Vision-4.0-CURTAIN, waarbij het systeem een complete 100%-vingerafdruk van het paneel genereert. De inspectieresultaten worden direct op het HMI weergegeven en automatisch opgeslagen voor later gebruik en analyse.
Dit is cruciaal voor de productie van panelen, omdat het zorgt voor consistente kwaliteit en helpt defecten in een zo vroeg mogelijk stadium te detecteren. Door zowel de procesbetrouwbaarheid als de eindproductkwaliteit te waarborgen, kunnen fabrikanten afval verminderen, de efficiëntie optimaliseren en klanttevredenheid garanderen.
