M-Rays for acoustic building solutions in Australia

Spring 2025 – CSR Martini™ started operating a new Hammer-IMS system in one of their production facilities near Sydney, Australia.

The newly-installed system takes part of a brand-new production line which has been provided by the leading nonwoven company Dilo. CSR Martini™, part of the Saint-Gobain group, is a leading manufacturer of acoustic solutions with over 27 years of experience in engineering products that balance science, sound, and design. Specialising in exposed insulation, decorative acoustics, and custom noise control solutions, CSR Martini™ integrates performance with aesthetics to create transformative environments that enhance wellbeing, focus, and auditory enjoyment. Committed to innovation, craft, and sustainability, the company rigorously tests its products to ensure exceptional sound absorption across the full spectrum. Guided by the ethos of “for the love of sound, not noise,” CSR Martini™ develops truly custom solutions, releasing new products only when they meet the highest standards of performance and design, while maintaining sustainable practices that improve life inside buildings without harming the world outside.

The combination Hammer-IMS - Dilo has built an enduring collaboration that is transforming nonwoven production by combining Hammer-IMS’s non-radioactive measuring solutions with Dilo’s advanced production lines. First showcased at ITMA Barcelona in 2019 and further strengthened at ITMA Milan 2023, the partnership has resulted in direct integration of Hammer-IMS’s scanners into Dilo’s nonwoven lines, enabling real-time feedback that improves fiber distribution, product uniformity, and overall quality. Today, the collaboration extends beyond exhibitions into commercial projects, with Dilo serving as an indirect sales channel for Hammer-IMS and ensuring smooth integration through streamlined installation and user-friendly interfaces. Together, the companies are driving sustainability and efficiency: Hammer-IMS provides a clean, non-radioactive alternative to conventional measuring systems, while its high-density scanning technology enables precise material control that reduces waste and optimizes resource use. This synergy enhances production accuracy and sustainability, establishing both companies as forward-looking innovators in the global nonwoven industry.

With the installation at CSR Martini™ in Sydney, another geographical milestone has been reached by the partnership Hammer-IMS – Dilo.
