Autoneum is globally leading in acoustic and thermal management for vehicles. The Company develops and produces multifunctional, lightweight components and systems for interior floor and engine bay as well as the underbody. Autoneum was looking for a non-destructive basis weight measurement system that could help to measure and improve the basis weight distribution and quality of a large variety of materials such as thick airlaid felt, nonwovens, heavy layer, foam slabs. After testing several existing equipment on the market, Autoneum selected the innovative, safe (non-nuclear, non X-Ray) Hammer-IMS Marveloc-CURTAIN system because of its flexibility and ability to accurately measure thick materials.
