Hammer-IMS is a young, innovative and growing company. Hammer-IMS supplies highly accurate and contactless measurement systems based on own sensor and vision technology. Typical applications are thickness and/or weight measuring in the markets of plastics, foams, nonwovens and textiles during production. The market for these kind of applications is currently dominated by nuclear and single-point sensing techniques. The Hammer-IMS systems are a sustainable and cheaper alternative to these harmful technologies. On top of that, it enables multipoint measuring in a very efficient and cost-effective way. Our camera technology is offered in the same markets. Hammer-IMS was founded in the beginning of 2016 and is in search for people to broaden and strengthen its team.

We are currently looking for some more colleagues. Right now, we are in search for a Marketing Assistant, a Junior Technical Sales Person and a Sales Engineer for the US market. Read the descriptions below!

Marketing Assistant

Jobomschrijving

Jouw job draait om het in-de-markt-zetten van het merk Hammer-IMS. Jouw dagtaak zal zich situeren binnen volgende thema’s:

  • Het schrijven van press releases en het onderhouden van de contacten met zowel de internationale vakpers (industriële journals, portaalsites) als de lokale algemene pers (kranten en televisie);
  • Het interviewen van klanten en Hammer-IMS-personeel met als doel het creëren van stories (geschreven, gesproken, videomateriaal, webinars);
  • Het verspreiden van bestaande content via onze social media kanalen: Youtube, LinkedIn en Facebook;
  • Het opstellen en verspreiden van emailcampagnes;
  • Het creëren van content voor, en het onderhouden van de website van Hammer-IMS;
  • Het uitvoeren of het uitbesteden van vertalingswerk (o.a. websiteteksten, brochureteksten);
  • Het schrijven, ontwerpen en laten printen van brochures, flyers, banners, naamkaartjes, whitepapers, productmanuals en technische fiches;
  • Het optimaliseren en bewaken van de huisstijl en corporate identity van Hammer-IMS in alle uitgaande communicatie;
  • Het beheren van SEO en digitale marketing (Google Adwords, LinkedIn, etc…);
  • Het organiseren van events en het beheren van de deelname van Hammer-IMS aan internationale beurzen.
  • Je zal tewerkgesteld worden op ons hoofdkantoor te Herk-de-Stad.

Profiel

  • Je bent een vat vol ideeën.
  • Je hebt een vlotte persoonlijkheid.
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in een jong en dynamisch team.
  • Je durft publiek te spreken, zelfs al is het even buiten jouw comfort zone.
  • Je bent in het bezit van een bachelordiploma.
  • Een computer heeft voor jou geen geheimen en je kan vlot overweg met een aantal multimediapakketten voor het maken van attractieve brochures, flyers en productvideos (bijvoorbeeld de producten van Adobe).
  • Je hebt een gezonde interesse voor technologie en bent bereid hierover bij te leren
  • Je bent een doorgewinterde social media kenner.
  • Kennis van fotografie of video-productie is een extra troef.
  • Nederlands en Engels zijn talen die je vlot kan spreken. Kennis van andere relevante talen (waaronder Frans, Duits, Italiaans, Arabisch, Chinees, Spaans, Deens, Zweeds of Noors) is een sterke troef.
  • Jobervaring is geen must maar een extra troef.
  • Je bent bereid enkele malen per jaar voor korte periodes in het buitenland te verblijven in het kader van internationale events.
  • Je beschikt minimaal over een rijbewijs type B.

Junior technical sales person

Job description

  • You will represent the products and solutions of Hammer-IMS and will become passionate about them. This involves identifying and analyzing the business case with Hammer-IMS’s prospects and formulate the right solution that realizes the business case based on the products and solutions of Hammer-IMS. Based on the business case and the formulated solution, you will also make complete budgetary and final quotations.
  • You will experiment with the products of Hammer-IMS to develop a feeling about their strengths and weaknesses. Based on this knowledge, you will have to be able to formulate solutions to customers based on slight modifications or reconfigurations of existing products while respecting the limitations of physics and the limitations of the performance of the products of Hammer-IMS.
  • You will have to execute pre-sales feasibility tests in the Hammer-IMS lab and write basic measurement reports regarding a possible match between the equipment of Hammer-IMS and the materials that have been tested.
  • You will be based in the HQ in Herk-de-Stad, Belgium, but business travel will be part of the job as well as attendance on international trade shows on which Hammer-IMS is an exhibitor.
  • Profile
  • Technical background: education or experience in electronic engineering, electro-mechanic engineering or manufacturing;
  • Hands-on and flexible;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Prepared to work in a young and passionate team;
  • Knowledge and experience in automation is an advantage;
  • Insights in mechanics and test setup construction is an advantage;
  • Experience in machine-building industry or machine-development is an advantage.
  • Driver license.
  • Language skills: English. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Sales engineer

Job description

  • You will represent the products and solutions of Hammer-IMS and will become passionate about them. This involves identifying and analyzing the business case with Hammer-IMS’s prospects and formulate the right solution that realizes the business case based on the products and solutions of Hammer-IMS. Based on the business case and the formulated solution, you will also make complete budgetary and final quotations.
  • You will be responsible for the U.S. market and will be based in the new Hammer-IMS U.S. office. Business travel will be part of the job.
  • You will identify new customers and applications within the U.S. market. Finding the right communication channels to reach these companies is key. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and expanding the sales network within the U.S.
  • You will experiment with the products of Hammer-IMS to develop a feeling about their strengths and weaknesses. Based on this knowledge, you will have to be able to formulate solutions to customers based on slight modifications or reconfigurations of existing products while respecting the limitations of physics and the limitations of the performance of the products of Hammer-IMS.
    You will have to execute pre-sales feasibility tests and give demonstrations with the demo equipment. Writing basic measurement reports regarding a possible match between the equipment of Hammer-IMS and the materials that have been tested are also part of the process.
  • You will be in close contact with the headquarter in Belgium. Travel to Belgium on a periodic base is part of the job.

Profile

  • Engineering background: education or experience in electronic engineering, electro-mechanic engineering or manufacturing;
