In the coming Fall and Winter months, Hammer-IMS will exhibit and/or participate in four events across Europe: Hofer Vliesstofftage in Hof (D), International Textile Coating & Lamination Congress in Ghent (B), K-Messe in Düsseldorf, and Global Insulation Conference & Exhibition in Estoril (P). Hammer-IMS will show a number of quality control solutions integrating plenty of innovations that provide instant feedback to manage and optimize your in-line production.
Every now and then, we give the word to one of our colleagues at Hammer-IMS. Today, Nele Reynders, Senior R&D Engineer, comments on the latest in measuring machine construction and measurement system integration.
The coming months, Hammer-IMS will cross Germany for speaker assignments or tabletop exhibits in leading conferences. The tour consists of textiles, nonwovens or plastics related events targeting material research, inline manufacturing and quality inspection. The first stops on the tour are Berlin - Textile Coating and Laminating (TCL) conference – and Hof - Hofer Vliesstofftage – both taking place simultaneously.
Based on millimeter waves, Hammer-IMS developed new systems for measuring thickness and weight in production lines of sheets and films. This innovative electromagnetic technology is seen as a powerful alternative for today’s nuclear measuring equipment, which governments want to gradually ban. Furthermore the technology offers up to micron level accuracy on industrial production floors, measuring both transparent and opaque in any color as well as rough & shiny surfaces.
