PERSBERICHT 27/09/2023 - Gisteren ontving Hammer-IMS tijdens zijn 'Open Huis' evenement een 120-tal genodigden waaronder medewerkers, familie, klanten, leverenciers, enz. Het evenement vierde de eerste verjaardag van de verhuis van Hammer-IMS naar Herk-de-Stad. De aanwezigen konden innovatieve toestellen voor industriële kwaliteitscontrole aan het werk zien die het bedrijf ontwikkelt en wereldwijd commercialiseert. Het Limburgse Hammer-IMS opende recentelijk een kantoor in de VS en versterkt door een resoluut innovatiebeleid zijn positie als wereldleider in industriële kwaliteitscontrole.
Gestart door twee visionaire Limburgse ingenieurs
Door de vastberadenheid en toewijding van twee visionaire ingenieurs is Hammer-IMS een succesverhaal geworden op het gebied van industriële meetsystemen. Tom Redant en Noël Deferm, twee Limburgse ingenieurs die afstudeerden aan KU Leuven, richtten Hammer-IMS op in 2016 en begonnen samen aan een uitdagende reis die het bedrijf bracht waar het nu staat.
In de beginjaren werd Hammer-IMS gekenmerkt door een sterke innovatiedrang en een ambitieuze toekomstvisie. Verhuisd naar Herk-de-Stad en eigen kantoor in VS
Geleidelijk breidde Hammer-IMS zijn horizon steeds verder uit. De behoefte voor een grotere ruimte om hun groeiende activiteiten te huisvesten, deed het bedrijf verhuizen naar een eigen kantoor in Herk-de-Stad. Nu, na het eerste volledige jaar in Herk-de-Stad, viert Hammer-IMS deze mijlpaal met een 'Open Huis' evenement om zijn verwezenlijkingen en toekomstplannen te tonen en te delen met de lokale community en partijen die geruime tijd betrokken zijn.
