High-responsivity at reasonable accuracy levels. The buffalo line is typically used for detection and less-challenging measurement tasks in highly-dynamic settings.
The Marveloc 602 product family offers thickness measurement, basis weight measurement, anomaly detection or even di-electric characterization of various non-conductive materials in many industries. In order to tackle each measurement task, Hammer-IMS has a diversified product range. Products roughly differ in terms of the sensor's values for responsivity and precision.
A full measuring system is shown on the left. The system consists of a processing unit, a sensor-head pair and an industrial PC containing the industry-specific processing software. Note that Hammer-IMS integrates these measuring systems in its turnkey CURTAIN and CUBE products.
Marveloc-602-72
The Marveloc Bufallo enables elegant solutions for typically-thick or heavy materials. It can handle the following applications: thickness measurement of thick synthetic sheets, glass wool characterization and many more.
Latency reduction technology | High speed, highly responsive, medium precise
These products typically require tailored add-ons that you might need to check.
Software
Products and solutions built upon Hammer-IMS’s measurement systems are connectable through a software suite fitting your inline needs. The software is called Hammer-IMS Connectivity 3.0. It enables an intuitive experience while monitoring your production. It features configuration of all devices that Hammer-IMS provides, real-time measurement visualisation, data-save functionality, calibration routines and various modules for a range of measurement tasks and materials.
Mechanics
The CURTAIN mechanical mounting frames are O-type or C-type based traveling or fixed measurement frames. They are designed to contain multiple sensor-head pairs (typically 4) of the Marveloc 602 product family for inline applications. The frames feature a rigid structure, which does not suffer performance loss due to sensor-head misalignment, which is a typical killer for non-rigid frames. The frames contain an enclosed space for insertion of one Marveloc 602 processing unit. The Marveloc’s wiring can be concealed in dedicated cable conduits. If a traveling frame is requested, it is mounted on a linear-drive unit including a motor drive to enable full coverage of the material’s width. The multi-head nature enables a short mean time between measurement, and small line clearances for broad production lines.
Single-head enclosure
The CUBE enclosure box can contain a single Marveloc 602 and sensor-head pair. CUBE enclosures stand for temperature-conditioned environments with room for installation of additional third party sensor technology.
